A permit is required to moor at locations that are not designated ports of entry. Permits are issued by the Customs Office upon request.
Visitors may remain in Saint Lucia for up to three months.
Extensions must be requested in person at the Immigration Office in Castries and carry a fee of EC$100 per 21-day period.
When entering Saint Lucia by yacht, the following documents must be presented to Customs and Immigration:
Ship’s papers showing vessel ownership and business activity
Clearance documentation from the last port of call, including a Customs
Passports for all crew and passengers, with any required visas

Customs clearance must be obtained within 24 hours of arrival, and no one should leave the yacht before clearance is granted.
Overtime fees apply outside working hours: EC$10 on Saturdays and weekday overtime, and EC$15 on Sundays and public holidays (minimum charge: 3 hours).

An official port of entry, it offers customs and immigration, duty-free fuel, chandlery, provisioning, and repair facilities, and serves as the arrival point for the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC).
2. CAPELLA MARINA AT MARIGOT BAY
Located in one of the Caribbean’s most beautiful sheltered bays, Capella Marina offers 40 berths and full marina services. As an official port of entry, it provides duty-free fuel, provisioning, concierge services, and easy access to nearby restaurants and boutique hotels.
3. JALOUSIE BEACH MOORING
Located between Gros Piton and Petit Piton, Jalousie Beach is one of the most scenic mooring spots in Saint Lucia. From here, sailors can easily reach Soufrière and explore local shops, botanical gardens, nature trails, and other tractions.
